Race Mirrors was born at the race track in the same way that many companies start – with a great idea. This idea concerned air and speed and how to lessen the negative effects of one to improve the other.

That was more than a decade ago, and since then our aero-clean mirrors have helped a lot of racers go faster – so fast that Race Mirrors has made regular appearances on the winning car at SCCA Formula Ford national runoffs.

The ‘great idea’ would take Race Mirrors to the wind tunnel. It was here in the wind that our Professional and Professional Extreme mirrors were tweaked and their shapes refined to reduce aerodynamic drag significantly. And in racer lingo, low drag in a very good thing.

Race Mirrors was soon granted a patent for development of the advanced aerodynamic technology that makes the Professional Extreme the most aero efficient race mirror on the track today. (See Advanced Technology)
